Late Night Thoughts is a homegrown-pop duo made up of Michael Harlow and Brian Rauch; two musicians who sparked a powerful bond when they met at Brandeis University in Massachusetts.
The chemistry was there from the get-go. Performing at local bars and college spots, Michael and Brian began cementing a name for themselves on campus as well as in the local scene.
Their harmonies harmonized, their talents meshed inherently, and their sound began to travel through the halls and the dorms; all across campus. They quickly became the musicians to know at Brandeis University. They even won the school’s premiere talent competition which gave them the opportunity to open the annual Spring concert.
Naturally, they began writing original music. Staying up through the darkest hours of the night, they manufactured a sound that emulates the sincerity and grace of their thoughts, one that digs deep into their homegrown roots and fosters the qualities and experiences most important to them. A simple sound that honors the values they believe in the most: Family, friends and love.
So they grabbed a guitar, and they wrote. They set out to charm the world with timeless words and melodies and turn them into records. Turn them into classics.
Today, they have not only released a full length EP, but have also accumulated hundreds of thousands of plays on streaming services, been on a northeastern tour, and garnered praise from dozens of press outlets.
Now, Late Night Thoughts gets ready to charm listeners with their college farewell. Their new EP, "Worth It." represents a moment in time where Michael and Brian discovered who they are and what they wanted to say. It's been four years of finding themselves, but now the duo is ready to embark on the next chapter of their careers, releasing this EP as a special footprint along the way.
They’re just getting started…
